Columbus Global Academy at Brookhaven
PTO: Parent Teacher Organization
Our Mission

The PTO is an organization that gives parents the opportunity to become MORE involved with their children’s education. It also provides a VOICE that can be heard by school personnel.

The purpose of the PTO is to enhance and support the educational experience at Columbus Global Academy and to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parent involvement.

You may ask—”What does the PTO do?” It helps you and your child in a variety of ways. By joining the PTO you, the parent, can assist the planning and decision-making for school programs and events and fundraise for the purchase of supplemental textbooks, library books, sports equipment, field trips, and other educational programs that can help to enhance your child’s learning experiences.

PLEASE, become involved in our PTO—we ask that you join us at our next PTO meeting on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 6:00 pm at Columbus Global Academy in the Library. Refreshments will be provided. We look forward to meeting ALL of our parents
